March 2026 – Frankfurt-based competition law firm COMMEO successfully advised the mobile company ZTE against its rival Samsung in the dismissal of a first ever raised antitrust claim for a global FRAND license.
The Frankfurt district court dismissed the claim with judgment of February 26, 2026, Az. 2-06 O 426/24. The judgment is available online at the website of the Hessian courts. The proceeding in Frankfurt is part of a global FRAND-licensing dispute between the parties.
