July 2026 – Frankfurt-based competition boutique law firm COMMEO has promoted Franziska Lange-Schlüter (32) to Counsel effective 1 July 2026.
Before starting her career at COMMEO as an antitrust attorney in March 2020, Franziska Lange-Schlüter had previously served as a legal clerk there. During the 2021–2022 academic year, she earned a Master of Laws (LL.M.) from the University of Chicago and also passed the New York Bar Exam, having been admitted as an attorney-at-law in New York since 2023. In the summer of 2024, she was on secondment at the Japanese law firm Atsumi & Sakai in Tokyo. She advises national and international companies on all aspects of German and European antitrust law as well as matters relating to foreign direct investment screening and the EU Foreign Subsidies Regulation. Her practice focuses on all aspects of transaction-related antitrust matters as well as on issues of abusive conduct by dominant or market-strong companies. She also advises on compliance and contract-related antitrust matters. She regularly speaks and publishes on antitrust topics.
