Frankfurt am Main, November 2022 – COMMEO advised the private equity investor NORD Holding on the sale of the German engineering company Bock Group to Danfoss with respect to merger and foreign direct investment control. With its compressor portfolio, the worldwide active Bock Group is among the technology and innovation leaders in the development of sustainable, economical solutions in refrigeration and air conditioning technology.
COMMEO advised on the preparation and handling of the merger control proceedings before the German Federal Cartel Office. In addition, COMMEO assisted in the worldwide review for notification obligations under merger and foreign direct investment control rules. As part of its regular work for NORD Holding in connection with transactions, COMMEO had already advised on the merger control aspects of the acquisition of the Bock Group in 2020.
