COMMEO promotes Christoph Weinert to partner as of 1 January 2023

Frankfurt am Main – COMMEO promotes Christoph Weinert to partner as of 1 January 2023. The Frankfurt-based law firm specializing in German and European antitrust law now consists of six partners and six associates.

Christoph Weinert is a recognized expert in German and European antitrust law and is recommended by Legal 500 EMEA and Kanzleimonitor, among others. His main areas of advice include antitrust litigation, in particular representation in damages proceedings before German courts, as well as defense in regulatory and judicial antitrust proceedings. He further focuses on advising in the area of German and European merger control, including all transactional antitrust law. Christoph Weinert also advises on distribution antitrust issues and abuse control as well as on all aspects of antitrust compliance.

Christoph Weinert studied law at the University of Bonn and received his Master of Laws (LL.M.) from Victoria University of Wellington (New Zealand). After starting his career as associate at the international law firm Weil, Gotshal & Manges in Frankfurt, he joined the COMMEO team in 2012.
